Every connection on Crucially is mutual: two people agree to be connected. Adding someone requires an available slot on both sides—if your peer has no room, the product should explain that clearly (including “peer capacity” cases).
The default page includes a fixed number of mutual slots so the core experience stays understandable. You can use Crucially on that default page without buying optional tier unlocks.
Optional paid tiers (Silver, Gold, Diamond in product documentation) exist to unlock additional “pages” of capacity and per-slot subscriptions on those paid pages. That model is about optional expansion, not removing the free default—wording in the app store and marketing should stay consistent with that.
If a paid slot subscription lapses while a connection still exists on a paid tier, delivery across that edge can pause until billing is healthy again (“frozen” state in product specs)—check in-app copy and Terms for the authoritative description.
